Our tenancy recently underwent a change to our fit out. Chadi, the Cleaning Manager and the Cleaning Team worked extremely hard duirng this period to ensure that the presentation of our tenancy was maintained. Despite the additional dust and rubbish. Chadis positive approach to his job, his leadership and his willingness to get involved in the day to day cleaning with his staff make him an ideal candidate for an award. He is always quick to respond to a request, no job is too hard and he always strives to achieve the highest level of presentation possible.

Our firm recently organised a team run of the fire stairs in the building to raise funds for a charity. David assisted us by walking the stairs (from level 37 to ground) in his security suit a number of times in quick succession just before the race to check that we had the right stair wells and ensure everything was ok. The area in the stairwell was quite hot due to the weather so we really appreciated his assistance with this.

Always greets everyone with a pleasant smile. Ready to help in times of need. Makes a connection with ease!

We had a Citi staff member who required medical assistance due to having a fit in the lobby of the foyer. David got involved and took control over the situation, involved his guards to assist and ensured the staff member was safe and comfortable while waiting for the ambulance. Joel made a number of additional phone calls to the ambulance services whilst we waited for them to arrive which were instrumental in getting the paramedics to us quicker. In addition to this he also dealt brilliantly with the public at the Concierge Desk while all resources were diverted to performing first aid and trying keep the surrounding area safe and secure for the lady involved. Joel remained calm throughout the emergency and assisted the ambulance service with all questions asked of him.

I have been working the graveyard night shift for the past year. Occasionally I go downstairs to have a cigarette around the corner, a few times I have been approached by the homeless for money and cigarettes but 2 weeks ago a group of drunken men became quite abusive towards me and began threatning me, had I not been near the front doors I would not have gotten away in time, I got lucky. After mentioning this altercation to Nav Singh he has since insisted in joining me outside while I have my 10 or 15 min break. Nav goes out of his way to ensure that I am safe during my break. My family and I really appreciate his kindness and concern for my safety. I know this is not in his job description and is going above and beyond to ensure the patrons of the Citigroup building are safe. For this I nominate Nav Singh for the WOW! Awards. Thank you.

Although Laurie has been the building maintenance contact for only a short time, at MetLife he is renowned for his quick response and attention to detail for each and every job. Whilst completing maintenance requests, Laurie quite often has MetLife staff mentioning and discussing other maintenance issues. Going over and above his role, Laurie always comes back to the MetLife Facilities department to report other issues and comments received and therefore allowing us to lodge new requests. This ensures the issues are fixed in a timely manner. Lauries efficiency, energy and enthusiasm within his job role makes working within this building a very pleasant experience.

Gerard Sarmiento has been very helpful with the logistics of merchandise for our conference and his help is very much appreciated. Above and beyond!

Lawrence always does a great job, is very professional and is a real credit to the Citigroup Centre. Nothing is ever a problem, he is always on time and is proactive in all jobs that are requested. Regards, Barbara

Darren is vision impaired and was having a few issues with being able to access his floor via the lifts security access system. A meeting was arranged with Darren & Joe Parsons as well as the building lift tech & the security access control technician. Together they were able to come up with an innovative way to reprogram the lift & control system to allow Darren to overcome the issues he was experiencing. Darren expressed the following in an email to me: "Thanks so much for helping coordinate a meeting with the building management and lift people. The outcome is great and my pass is working nicely. This small thing makes a big difference for me and I just wanted to let you know that it is very much appreciated and not at all taken for granted. Joe and Marcos can do solution focused approach is refreshing and the outcome just goes to show what can be achieved with a little innovation, thinking and a real desire to assist."

Shirley consistently delivers outstanding financial management services to GPT. Her work is accurate and always delivered swiftly and reliably. Her service ethic is first class and is much appreciated by GPT.

I am writing to let you know how much I appreciate the outstanding customer service that your Concierge Gerard provided last week. I regularly use the carpark in your building as I am tenant in the Galeries. I was struggling with boxes through the front entrance and Gerard saw this and came to offer assistance. I just wanted to express my appreciation of his excellent customer service.

This gentleman deserves the recognition. I have a business in this centre and he is always helpful, pleasant and a pleasure to deal with. He is always accommodating and his work ethic does not go unnoticed. Please commend him!

Nav is an excellent team member. He is always very helpful and will go beyond to assist with any concerns. Many staff members have come to me to advise of his great customer service skills. He is always very professional and smiling which I think is great.

Shirleys ability to provide accurate and timely results as well as her prompt responses to any queries raised has resulted in an exceptional service experience. She take new ideas/changes on board readily and is an absolute pleasure to work with!

I would like to nominate Leanne Cotter for the WOW! Awards – I think her proactivity in supporting the tenants of this building is outstanding and should be acknowledged. It’s an absolute pleasure to work with her, and her customer service attitude is exemplary (attested to by responding to my phone call at 8pm on a Friday night!)

After 6 years of delivering to your building and its many occupiers I am leaving my profession to pursue an alternative career. After all I have experienced as a delivery driver and the many Dockmasters/staff, Kuar Singh is the one I will miss the most. His softly spoken mannerisms and knowledge of anything i have asked of him, has put him on a platform few know even exists

Thanks to Karrens direction the cleaners did a fantastic job cleaning after our event last night. This morning everything was so clean it sparkled! Karren always goes above and beyond in her role. Regards, Barbara

I have dealt with your Dock Master Mr Kuar Singh now for over 6 years and have been amazed at the courteous and efficient way he runs your Loading Dock area. He is always pleasant, polite and helpful. No one single event stands out but rather a consistent outstanding level of service doing a job that at times is way harder than people think. Mr Singh is a champion at customer service and I am very pleased to have the opportunity to convey this.

Nada does an outstanding job of keeping our area on Level 47 clean. My team work until very late everynight and during most weekends. Nada is a very pleasant, hard working person and should be congratulated on a great job. Thanks Tracy

I dropped my wallet down the lift shaft on Monday which was a Public Holiday. Kuldeep was confident that i would get this back on Tuesday, by lunchtime. He arranged for the lift repair engineers to come and retireve this for me. I now have my wallet again. Many Thanks!

I would like to acknowledge the efforts of the Citigroup Security Team for their assistance in a recent incident which occurred within our tenancy on a public holiday. In particular I would like to recognize the efforts of the following team members: • Robert Craig who was on duty at the time, did a fantastic job of immediately taking control of the situation, recording information and quickly dispatching a guard to the area of concern. • Navjyot Singh who attended the tenancy and was very professional in his approach as well as showing great consideration and care for the affected staff member. • Security Manager, Deborah Brinckley, who went above and beyond by reviewing the incident from home as she was not onsite at the time this occurred. She ensured that all of the information was compiled into a full report ready for us first thing when we arrived in the office the next morning.
